Spectacular race out of the way through the peninsula of Baja California. The race starts in Ensenada and this year it will end in La Paz.
From 1967 to 1973 the race was organized by the National Association of Off-Road Competition (NORRA for its acronym in English); However, in 1974, the government denied NORRA permission to organize the event, and that year's fuel crisis forced the race to be canceled. In 1975, SCORE International, with the sponsorship of Cerveza Tecate, resumed the Baja 1000 as a circuit competition, with the start and finish in Ensenada, and in 1979, SCORE was able to make the legendary 1000-mile race to La Paz again They have done it since then.
Occasionally, the Baja-1000 has begun its journey in different cities such as Mexicali and Tijuana.
This 125.5-mile nighttime race offers the perfect mix of fun and adventure, the racers decide to head to the head off the coast for strong winds or to navigate the course line to the finish line.

Enjoy the "farewell" Party at the Corinthian Bay Yacht Club the night before the race, a traditional long that must be experienced to be created. Festive atmosphere on Saturdays and Sundays at the race venue, in Ensenada, will definitely make you smile.
